Graduation Day
Graduation Day is coming-
We shall leave this training place,
Receiving the highest degree,
As we behold His wondrous face.
Hallelujah! What a glorious day-
Our souls completely free
To dwell with Christ, our Saviour,
Through all eternity.
Rewards shall be bestowed
At His judgment seat,
But the greatest one of all
Shall be to sit at His feet.
Until then, let us do our best
To follow His will and way,
Obeying the inner promptings,
As He instucts and leads each day.
Time is of the essence,
So swiftly it's fleeting by,
Let us worship God in all we do
Till we reach our home on high.
Father, forgive us when we fail you,
Teach us to hear and obey,
Train our wayward hearts,
For Graduation Day.
"Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel;
I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit,
which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go."
