God Is There For You
When dreams are shattered by circumstance,
And it seems all hope is gone...
When you've trusted in mere luck and chance,
And you feel so all alone...
God is There for You.
When you've exhausted every resource,
And you think you've reached the end...
When you just don't know which way to turn,
He's your closest, dearest friend...
And He Cares for You.
When those best made plans, you thought so right,
Have turned out to be so wrong...
Our Great Shepherd's there to lead the way,
With a new and glorious song...
He Abides with You.
As you follow Christ in all you do,
When you fail, you still succeed...
He gives you the desires of your heart,
And supplys your every need...
He Provides for You.
So when you feel that you have no hope,
And that nothing's going right...
Just focus your eyes on the Saviour,
And walk by faith - not by sight...
God is There for You!
"Delight thyself also in the Lord;
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
(Ps.37:4; I Pet. 5:7)
